About the session

Most people working on digital products assume that adding new features and improving the existing ones make users happy. After all, users are getting a better experience. The truth is, people are often unhappy about change, particularly at first.

In this session, we will start with a few examples of changes that didn’t go well and describe two psychological principles that might explain users’ reactions. After that we will explore what can be done to make users embrace (or at least accept) change.
