Going beyond optics: how to run a design sprint that actually delivers value

We were daunted when we were asked to design and facilitate a 5-day design sprint in a tent, with over 250 different participants. But we did it!

For the past 3 years we’ve facilitated a sprint at Northumbrian Water Group’s annual Innovation Festival. The results have been spectacular! However, as practitioners, there’s no doubt they’ve been incredibly challenging to facilitate. We’ll provide a warts-and-all overview of the problems we’ve faced and how as a team we overcame them.
