About the session
Feedback sucks. Hard to give, painful to hear (even when it’s praise!)
It’s a problem because if we can't give effective feedback to each other, and if we can't receive it, then we will struggle to be truly agile.
We can't "fail forwards" if we're afraid of the post-mortem.
In this session, we’ll look at what makes feedback so hard. We’ll look at traditional and new ways of giving feedback, as well as neuroscience: what happens in our brains, so we can discover how our feedback can make us more effective.
Participant Takeaways:
- More effective ways of giving feedback than the “Crap Sandwich”,
- Practical tips for helping participants give more effective feedback, and not fear getting it
- Next steps to help with effective implementation
