About the session

The better work-life balance of flexible working has changed many lives for the better. But with big companies requiring people back in the office, we'll debate: does hybrid working actually work in our UX roles?

This session will be using the Debate Club conversation format, which helps people get better at understanding and discussing conflicting ideas.

Similar to a 'Lean Coffee', the session is a friendly and informal environment where you can gain greater confidence in independent thinking, and also learn how you can apply this conflict-resolving technique in your own workplace.

Participant takeaways:

  • Leave with practical tools to apply to your own work.
  • Inspiration to practice interpersonal, flexible skills that may have been left unpolished by not working in person with others.
  • Learn how to run similar sessions yourself.
  • Learn how debating can become a constructive and fun part of team culture.

Themes:

Hybrid working, Culture and collaboration, Ways of working, Inclusivity, Design productivity

This session:

  • Includes interaction
  • Has no number cap
