About this Case Study

It can sometimes feel that agile practices don’t work for designers. That an MVP mindset and delivery focused decisions will inevitably lead to lower quality products. This doesn’t have to be the case.

This session will help UX and product designers thrive in an agile environment. You will learn how to plan design activities for delivery, make development teams your allies and turn frequent releases into an opportunity to learn and improve.

About the Speaker

I’m a digital product designer with over 9 years' experience solving highly complex issues and creating beautiful end-to-end experiences that millions of people remember. I work as a lead product designer for TAB (The App Business).

My early career saw me cut my teeth in the world of Flash, later on specialising in responsive web, which grew into a passion for native mobile apps and IoT technologies.

In the last few years I’ve worked with a range of product teams, from smaller teams of under 10 people to teams of 60+. Recently I’ve created products and experiences for Ford, the Met Office, B&Q/Kingfisher to name a few.

I’m a firm believer that everyone's a designer (to some degree) and I encourage my UX/product design teams to work in an inclusive and collaborative manner.
